Col. Young came to work with Bill Doar in 1976 and remained to work with me from 1978 until 1990. The Colonel was buried in the Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors (a full band, a full complement of military guards and military horse driven corsage and twenty-one gun salute. The tape of that wonderful honor will hopefully be posted soon.
Col. Young was a “Blue Phi” Sigma. His body has gone on; but his works will live forever and his spirit will remain for all time inspiring all who come into “Our Wondrous Band” to both live Sigma and to “be” Sigma.
