Beta Rho Sigma Welcomes Eight New Members

CHARLOTTE, NC., November 8, 2010 — Beta Rho Sigma, an alumni chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated, is pleased to announce its induction of Bryan Earl, Derek Carter, Jermaine Watson, MonDarius Fox, Stanley Price,Troy Rivens, Walter Haeggans and Webster Bryant into its fraternity. Our new brothers bring a wealth of talents and energies necessary to help Beta Rho Sigma continue its goal to promote brotherhood, scholarship and service in the Charlotte community and beyond.

Brothers, this event is significant because these men could have selected any other organization, but they chose Phi Beta Sigma. In addition, this is a first in the history of Beta Rho Sigma to have a large number of qualified men to successfully complete the Intake Process.

As Beta Rho Sigma advances its quest to serve the Charlotte community and prepare for the fraternity’s centennial anniversary, our chapter’s key objectives include: Recruiting the best and the brightest men to Sigma; Retaining our existing committed and dedicated brothers by offering a wealth of programs and service; and Reactivating brothers by showing them how to balance family commitments, professional obligations and community responsibilities.
