a few weeks ago, sharleen young, a recruiter from Target, inbox’ed me asking about reaching out to the phi beta sigma LinkedIn group. she’s looking for “diverse strategic business leaders at Target HQ” in their merchandising team. she writes “These are leadership positions within Merchandising where Buyers have the opportunity to: Manage a P&L, be involved in new product development/launches, manage many aspects of the business and focus on not just one product but on an entire category.” she provided me with the job description and gave me the green light to pass it onto Sigmas and Zetas. Target HQ is in minneapolis so lucky you out there, but hopefully this could lead to other recruiters coming our way or one more way to connect you into Target HQ.
