so today’s my crossing anniversary. it was 13 years ago today that my sands and i became men of Sigma. ok yeah i’m afraid to admit it, but i forgot the time so sue me. but it was something between 9pm & 10pm. our line of six saw two drop before it was all said and done. after a session, we sat in rahsaan’s kitchen and said “damn, we’re jacked up and smell like funk” and the name “blue funk” was born. so i’m sending out a big “BLUE PHI!” to my sands: rahsaan “hightower” duff-tatum, ashanti “5th dimension” branch, and marlon “bass” smith.<\/p>\n
