By way of our good brother, Derrick Smith, President of Eta Beta Sigma Chapter in Nashville. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was recently inducted into Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity in Nashville, TN. Here are a few excerpts from the press release:
Following in the footsteps of his father, Stanley Cromartie, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was recently inducted into Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated in Nashville, Tennessee. Rodgers-Cromartie, a Tennessee State University dual athletic standout, was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals 16th overall in the 2008 National Football League Draft.
“Being a part of this brotherhood is a lifelong dream and one that I can cherish,??? said Rodgers-Cromartie.
“Dominique always showed a strong interest in joining Phi Beta Sigma during his matriculation at TSU and this is another achievement for him,??? said Derrick Smith, president of Eta Beta Sigma Chapter. “It’s wonderful to have him as a member of our organization.???
Becoming a member the Phi Beta Sigma brotherhood has always been a lifelong dream of mine. At age 14 I became a member of the Sigma Beta Club Inc. under the leadership of the Late Mr. Wilkes Kemp Sr. who in my opinion epitomized the term “Sigma Man”. Life took me in a different direction and I slightly strayed off the path of becoming a member of Phi Beta Sigma. Now a 29 year old divorcee, J still have the burning desire to wear the colors of this great brotherhood.
Respectfully,
Alexander J. Miller
