Fisk University 1975
Nothing like the 1970s. Nothing like it. Can anyone identify any of the brothers in this picture? If so, would you hit me off line at kchristian@cox.net. Thank you.

Delta Phi Chapter 1977
ST and SH you two will really appreciate this!
The 1970’s brought about a change. Like I have said before I really like to collect pictures of the frat from the 1970s. You slowly began to see the strides change in the fraternity. This is the same chapter that Bro. Jerry Rice pledged at in 1983. These are from the 1977 Delvian Yearbook of MVSU.
If you pledged in the 1970’s and you have pictures of you and your chapter, please send us a copy. We would like to post a copy. Please include as much information as you can.
Can anyone identify any of the brothers in these pictures?

Lambda Gamma Chapter – 29 Years and Counting
today’s post comes to us from bro. warren s. galloway, jr.
On May 18, 2009, Lambda Gamma Chapter, Central Michigan University (“CMU”), will be celebrating its 30 year anniversary. There have been Sigmas on CMU’s yard for 29 straight years and the chapter is still going strong.
We’ve had one of the most diverse and successful collegiate chapters in the state of Michigan. In addition, we are an award-winning chapter on CMU’s campus. No other greek or Black greek organization can claim to have won: Greek Organization of the Year; Black Greek Organization of the Year; Community Service Organization of the Year; Minority Student Organization of the Year; Individual Greek of the Year; Individual Black Greek of the Year;
Minority Student of the Year; President of the Student Government Association; Homecoming King; President of the Organization for Black Unity; President of the Business/Computer Service Organization; numerous step show competition wins, and Star Athletics on the Basketball, Football, and Track & Field Teams. Plus, our chapter and brothers have won these awards numerous times!
Yet, our biggest achievement as a chapter is our overall college graduation rate since 1979. We have an astonishing estimated 90% graduation rate, with an estimated 25% advance degree graduation rate. Which means if you pledge Sigma at CMU, there is a 90% chance you will graduate from college! This accomplishment is the one I personally cherish the most because our chapter brothers value education more than anything else.
