Bro. Eugene T. Alexander was one of the earliest men of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Believed to be on the first/second line at Howard University, he is listed as the first editor of the Phi Beta Sigma Journal (1921), which later became the Crescent Magazine in 1924.
