Brothers, it is with great SADNESS, that I announce the passing of Bro. Mervin O. Parker, Sr. (Alpha Chapter 1932). He was the line brother of Hon. Bro. Col. Lucious Young. Col. Young passed earlier this year at age 99. I use to go and visit Bro. Parker all of the time. He stayed in the same senior facility as my grandmother. However, my grandmother moved in June and the last time I saw him was July right after the Conclave. He was an active member in Alpha Sigma Chapter for years. Please alert brothers of his passing. His funeral is in DC this Saturday and unfortunately I will be in Florida. I took this picture of Bro. Parker Sept. 2008
