Kwame Nkrumah: seated front Row center, pledged Phi Beta Sigma (Mu Chapter) @ Lincoln University. He was the first African-born Prime Minister of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah was a prominent Pan-African organizer whose radical vision and bold leadership helped lead Ghana to independence in 1957. Nkrumah served as an inspiration to Martin Luther King, who often looked to Nkrumah’s leadership as an example of nonviolent activism.

I am a Gold Life member who pledged at Mu Chapter in 1985. This is the first time I’ve seen this photo. Very Nice; I am sending it to my young guns currently at LU to archive. Thanks.

I also pledged Mu Chapter, but in fall of 1975. 12 Million Dollar Men. #3 Savoir Faire. Nice site.
Good to see you Bro. Plaskett. I’m still in Atl.
