Every Sigma brother should be familiar with the name Lynwood W. Brown.
Here is a picture (taken in 2007) of the home (2009 North Ave, Richmond, VA) that housed Sigma’s first paid office space. Hon. Bro. Lynwood Brown was an insurance man, who was compensated $200/month by the Fraternity and served as National Executive Secretary from 3/15/1946 until 1/16/1949. Hon. Bro. William Doar replaced him and served in that capacity for approximately 30 years.
