The Beta Theta Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff braved nearly freezing temperatures to aid in providing gifts for Arkansas’s foster children.
Members of the fraternity served as elves delivering nearly 100 items to a local Wal-Mart located on Bowman Street in Little Rock. Upon hearing about the cause from Today’s THV This Morning (Channel 11), Alice 107.7, and Stuff the Sleigh, Inc. that toys were needed to meet this year’s wish list for Arkansas’s foster children, members of the chapter leaped into service.
Members of the chapter purchased and accepted donations of nearly 100 items to be disbursed to children all over the state. The team that delivered the toys was also given a special treat, they were interviewed on live television and broadcast all over the state.
