In December 2010, the Alpha Nu Sigma chapter, comprised of Brothers from various parts of the San Francisco Bay Area, launched BayAreaSigmas.com. In addition to serving as an umbrella site for some collegiate chapters, it was designed with the following in mind:
- Promote our strong bond of brotherhood
- Promote and highlight the ideals/objectives of PBS
- Spotlight activities of brothers throughout the Bay Area
- Be launchpad for those unfamiliar with PBS’ philanthropic involvement (Sigma Beta Club, HIV awareness initiatives etc. in the Bay Area
- Make our presence and impact known in all fields of study and occupations including; traditional commerce, e-commerce, high tech industry, education, law, entrepreneurial endeavors, the arts, etc

Last night in Oakland, I was honored to be a part of another ceremony as the Alpha Nu Sigma chapter initiated the newest Brothers into our Fraternity. Please join me in welcoming the following Brothers (pictured from left to right):
