As we embark on the Summit, do not ever forget that you come from greatness. Just thought that I would pull out an 80 year old picture today – Dignity & Pride.
Bro. R.A. Billings (front row, middle center) was made at Zeta Chapter (Morris Brown College) in the early 1920s, but he was President of Alpha Chapter in 1932 (he was a med Student at Howard’s Medical School then), just a little known history fact. Dr. Billings went on to have a distinguished career at Morris Brown College and was the 10th International President of Fraternity (1941-1944), the World War II years.
I am trying to see if I can locate the exact location of the Frat House in 1932, I am told this was on 13th Street, NW here in DC.
But you know what, I would mind finding that Sigma maker on the house.
