1934 Iota Chapter welcomes the freshman to campus!
Today in Sigma History – October 23, 2007 – Iota Chapter, Shaw University 1934
Iota Chapter was charted in 1920 at Shaw University, Raleigh, NC. Brother Jesse W. Lewis was one of their charter members.
SCHOLARSHIP, MANHOOD, AND SOCIABILITY are the ostentious (I cannot find this word in dictionary) qualities to which the members devote themselves.
Just a slight correction. Iota was chartered in 1919.

I also have IOTA chapter listed as being chartered in 1919 as well. I just do not have any documentation of that though.
